Although a variety of different variations of banana boat recipes exist on the internet, the basic ingredients are chocolate bars broken into small pieces, small marshmallows, and bananas. Some banana boat aficionados like to add caramel or other sweets to their banana boats, so you can customize your banana boat if you wish. Leaving the banana peel on the banana, take a knife and slice lengthwise into the fruit. Place little pieces of chocolate and marshmallows into the center of the banana, and cover it with tin foil. Place the foil packet near the fire, wait a few minutes for the chocolate and marshmallows to melt, and remove from the fire using tongs. Open up the packet, peel the banana, and enjoy!
